Dr. Andrea “Andi” Kelly, MD, MSCE
Dr. Andi Kelly is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and works as a doctor at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in the Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes. Dr. Kelly has been caring for patients with cystic fibrosis who have diabetes and other endocrine issues since the mid-2000s. She works with doctors from different specialties to design clinical research studies to help figure out why individuals with cystic fibrosis develop diabetes, to test ways to prevent or delay the development of cystic fibrosis-related diabetes, and to understand complications of diabetes in individuals with cystic fibrosis. Dr. Kelly is committed to training the next generation of doctors and researchers and has served as a mentor for the EnVision program for several years. EnVision is designed to train pediatric and adult endocrinologists as well as reproductive specialists in the care of individuals with CF.
